The Pioneer Valley Cappella (PVC) is a Northampton-based auditioned ensemble that has been performing unaccompanied choral music for over twenty-five years. We explore a fascinating range of repertoire; from early Renaissance to contemporary, the Americas to Eastern Europe.

Our concerts generally take place two weekends a year. The fall 2013 program. Moments in Time, is an exploration of masterpieces from the generation before J.S. Bach, and includes works of Purcell, Buxtehude, and Charpentier. It will take place 8:00 PM Friday, November 22, at St. John's Episcopal Church, Northampton; and 8:00 PM Saturday, November 23, at All Saints' Episcopal Church, South Hadley.
